Wymagania:
Required education level:
One of the following Master degrees:
- Master degree in Computer Sciences or Informatics.
- Master degree in Civil Engineering, option Computer Sciences.
- Master degree in Industrial Sciences, option ICT.
- Master degree in Commercial Engineering, Information Management.
- Master degree in Economics with additional Computer Sciences education.
Required experience:
No work experience needed! 3 years of relevant Master experience.
Required language skills:
- Very good command of English language (orally and written).
- Willingness to learn Dutch within 6 months of the transfer to Belgium will be considered as a strong plus.
Other important characteristics or requirements:
- Strong analytical skills. These skills will be tested through an analytical skills test.
- Strong personalities. As candidates will relocate to another country and be exposed to another environment, culture, languages, they need to be adaptable, strong willed and disciplined.
- High potentials: all candidates need to show their management ambitions through a mandatory middle management assessment (a full day). In order to be hired, candidates will have to score the minimal norm on these assessments.

Career Opportunity - Technical Designer

• Function:
- As a technical designer you outline the technical aspect of new applications.
- You lay the foundation on which the programmers will build further.
- Your role is crucial to ensure the efficiency and stability of our applications.

• Main tasks:
- You work in a project team.
- Your assignments are very diverse. Large and small, national and international, mainframe, middleware and open systems may alternate with each other.
- Based on functional requirements, you make the technical design for an application following the bank guidelines and standards.
- You pay continuous attention to controllability, efficiency and stability.
- You make a plan for a technical design, programming, tests and transfer to production.
- You follow up the plan accurately.
- You direct the programmers of the team, in which your personal experience as a programmer will be useful.
- You collaborate in functional end-to-end tests.
- You continue to follow up the application in the production environment for a period of time.
- You are not daunted by the increasing international dimension of bank ICT.

Targeted start-up date of the hired candidates:
September – December 2008.
Location:
All positions are located in Brussels, Belgium. Leuven & Mechelen (both cities are located at 30 km from Brussels) are also among the possibilities.
